This is a highly late reply as I just saw your comment Scott, but I really appreciate your use of the word thoughtful. :) That was exactly my approach, so it's nice to know it came through, especially coming from someone with your level of knowledge in this subject!

Patrick - you're too modest by half! Writing the list was much less work than writing a thoughtful book about the importance of effective online forum management ;-)

Senor Gillespie - you? Look bad? Tell me it's even possible! It's great to be back on the horse even if at times the ride can be a little bumpy. How is the T. treating you?

Alison - not trying to gazzump the excellent work going on over at the Australian Community Managers group on Facebook - hope we can continue to collate useful resources there.
